Tagish was formed in 1995 as a spin-off from an existing technology innovation company Technology Applications Group to address the newly emerging market for web based solutions and services in the public sector. In February 2006 disaster struck for Tagish when a fire destroyed its Head Office in Alnwick, but thanks to the determination of Managing Director, Andrew Fisk, his business partner and wife, Sharon Fisk, and also the dedication of their staff, the company's disaster recovery plan was put into action and within a couple of weeks the company was operational and excellent relationships were maintained with customers.
According to the British Chamber of Commerce, 80% of businesses affected by a major incident either never reopen or close within 18 months, but over the past two years, Tagish have gone from strength to strength, having relocated to a new office, taken on several new staff and have a new brand image. The business is currently enjoying a rapid growth phase and is continuing to gain significant new business and is making inroads into the European market, having recently secured two major contracts with a well known, award winning online travel business.

The Tagish iCasework Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour (TAB) solution is a web based application which allows public agencies to capture and handle complaints of anti-social behaviour simply and quickly across multiple organisations. iCasework TAB allows caseworkers to efficiently and effectively manage case referrals, and frontline staff, such as community wardens, environmental, police and local housing office teams to log and record actions or refer cases to specialist caseworkers.
