This paper looks briefly at the growth in consultation exercises at local and national level, the benefits of consultation and the range of stakeholders that must now be addressed.
It discusses the range of difficulties this is causing many government agencies in the UK and outlines the capabilities of an ECS that promises to address them.
The aim is to demonstrate that embracing the technology that currently may seem to overwhelm them is the only practical way for government agencies to address the problems they now face.
