Strathclyde police say they found stolen and counterfeit goods valued at more than£8m in raids on street markets.

The main target was the Barras Market in the east end of Glasgow where computer hardware and CD roms were among the items seized.

41 people were arrested in the operation which involved about 200 police officers, trading standards officials and customs investigators.
