A district meeting of Unison last night condemned the move by Aberdeen DC chief executive, Donald Macdonald, to sue a staff trade union official, the Scotsman reports (p7).

The meeting demanded the right for members to give evidence to the special council committee established to investigate claims that ten officers of the council, including Mr Macdonald, had used 'inappropriate' behaviour toward employees of the council.
