Aberdeen city council has ruled against an attempt to remove all restrictions on late-night flights into the city's airport, reports the Scotsman (p8).

Last year all 16 late landings allowed by the council after Aberdeen airport's 10.30pm closing time had been used by the end of November. The council's planning committee rejected an application for a further relaxation of the curfew and that rejection was confirmed by the full council yesterday.
