Health authority are trying to trace the 15 boys and girls known to have been sexually assaulted by headteacher David Holman, who is thought to have developed Aids, the Daily Mail reports (14 May, p2).

Holman was jailed for 18 months in December 1986 after admitting specimen charges of indecently assaulting boys aged ten and 11 at Charlestown school in Carlyon Bay, Cornwall.

Specialist social workers are manning a telephone helpline for his victims and their families after the local health authority heard rumours he is being treated for an Aids-related condition.
