Leaders of the right-wing British national party are considering closing down their bookshop in south-east London which has been the target of protests for seven years, the London Standard reports (p13).

A recent court action by Bexley LBC saw BNP national organiser Richard Edmunds fined £700 for failing to remove fortification from the bookshop, which many people regard as the party's headquarters.

The paper reports that BNP might move it to East London.
