The Improvement & Development Agency intends to strengthen its role in the regions, according to executive director Steve Bundred.

He said there are no plans to make any structural changes to the organisation, but there needs to be better representation in the regions.

Mr Bundred added: 'I am aiming to improve our reputation in the regions in response to feedback.'

He said there are no plans to open new offices outside London, but staff

will be appointed with specific responsibility for working closely with regional employers.
