Camden LBC officers have been criticised in an inquiry for wrongly paying the £800,000 loan repayments of a local charity, reports the Ham & High (p.2)

The officers had paid the cash, owed by Kentish Town-based InterChange Trust despite instructions from council members, and the officers involved have been told to take refresher courses in the council's decision making processes.

Camden's deputy chief executive Amanda Kelly said there had been no 'sinister motive' for the payments being wrongly made.
