According to The Daily Telegraph (p11) Camden LBC has told an independent school in the borough it can only expand if it persuades 30% of parents to stop using their cars to ferry their children.

The Royal School in Hampstead had to apply for Camden for permission to alter the balance between day pupils and boarders, set as conditions of previous planning consents.

The school and council officers have agreed a travel plan. If targets aren't met over three years, the school may be ordered to reduce its intake to the original levels.
