Cheltenham BC managing director Christine Laird, who is embroiled in a long-running feud with the council's political leadership, has returned to work after four months' sickness leave.

The findings of a panel set up to investigate Ms Laird's grievances against leader Andrew McKinlay (Lib Dem) are expected to be heard before the end of the year.

A separate Standards Board inquiry into Ms Laird's complaint and a disciplinary action against her are still ongoing.
