The judicial tribunal set up to investigate the abuse of children in care in the former county council areas of Clwyd and Gwynedd since 1974, is inviting anyone with information - not least those who were themselves abused as children - to give evidence, the Independent reports (p2).

The tribunal begins to take evidence in the New Year and is expected to last 12 months.
