Cleveland CC has taken the decision to make public a report by the European Commission of Human Rights that the man campaigning to release his 18 year-old son from care is a convicted child molester (See LGCNet), the Guardian reports.

Since he turned 18 last week, the boys parents have been pressing through the media to have access to him.

The council released the report after legal advice, following the disclosure by a local paper of the father's conviction for two charges of indecent assault.
