Housing minister Sir George Young is due to address a one day conference on tenants' involvement in compulsory competitive tendering of housing services in London on Tuesday, 24 May.

The conference, organised by the Association of Metropolitan Authorities, the Association of District Councils, the Chartered Institute of Housing and the Tenant Participation and Advisory Service, will coincide with the launch of government guidelines on tenants' involvement.

The ADC and the CIH are due to launch a joint publication on the issue, Tenants' Involvement. The AMA also plans to publish a guide in the near future.

For further information on the conference, contact Kathy Hanson on 0203 694433.
