The Walt Disney Organisation has offered Gravesend BC £9,000 to help mark the grave of Pocahontas, an American Indian princess who is the subject of the company's latest film.

Pocahontas died in Gravesend in Kent while waiting for a ship back to America. Her grave at St George's Church is marked by a statue. The donation will be used to provide floodlighting for the church.
