Training and Enterprise Councils will lead a government strategy to regenerate inner city areas, employment secretary David Hunt said yesterday, The Daily Telegraph reports (p4).

The 82 TECs, composed of local businessmen appointed by the government, will spearhead an ambitious agenda which his department will publish soon, the paper reports.
