Croydon LBC has ordered a group of Vietnamese Buddhists to move out of the temple they have created in a suburban house in the borough, reported The Guardian (June 5, pg 8).

Complaints from neighbours about noise and excessive numbers of visitors to the house prompted Croydon to order the Buddhists to find new premises within six months.

A council spokesperson told the paper: 'We have tried to assist them in finding new premises. There are various courses of action they can take and obviously the council will be liaising with them.'
