Dorset Local Education Authority is in the firing line after producing a leaflet for schoolchildren which tells them how to plan mind-bending trips on LSD, reports The Daily Mail (p22).

The head of the Dorset drug squad said the leaflet glorified the use of drugs. It was produced in conjunction with the East Dorset Drugs Advisory Services with some police advice.

The headmaster of Kingsleigh secondary school in Bournemouth, Kevin Allen, admitted the school made a mistake. Mr Allen said the school did not know what the leaflet contained and stressed that Kingsleigh did not have a drugs problem.
