Three local authorities have just awarded cash mandates to Dresdner RCM Global Investors. Individually, the wins are a£30m mandate from Sunderland City Council, a£15m mandate from Richmond Upon Thames LBC and a£14m mandate from the Devon and Cornwall Police Authority.

Other recently announced wins include:

*£30m cash mandate for Medway Council

*£14m cash mandate for Hastings BC

Mark Archer, Dresdner's head of institutional business development said: 'These three new wins are further endorsement of our successful local authority team, who are dedicated to serving the fund management needs of local authorities around the country. We have one of the highest investment returns in respect of cash mandates, achieved in the industry over an 11 year period to March this year.'

Dresdner RCM currently manages funds for 48 local authority clients, with assets totalling around£965m.
