A businessman is refusing to sell his home after Durham CC approved outline planning permission for a business park on land occupied by his and his neighbour's bungalows, according to the Northern Echo (p7).

Ted Hall, who has lived in his home for 21 years, has refused the council's offer to buy it.

Durham CC has granted permission for the extension of Bracken Hill Business Park near Peterlee onto his land.
