The airline Emirates has joined the Birmingham-China Business Forum.
Emirates, which flies from Birmingham International Airport, has joined the forum as a corporate partner, alongside international law firm Pinsent Masons.
The forum, launched by the Chinese ambassador to the UK in July, aims to promote trade and investment between China and Birmingham, along with the wider Midlands region.
Birmingham City Council leader Mike Whitby (Con) said: “Emirates has a very strong brand and a growing presence at Birmingham Airport. I am looking forward to working with the airline and our other corporate partners to promote Birmingham's status as a global city with a local heart”.
