One of Wales's eight community based groups which carry through the European Union's Leader II rural development programme, has extended into Ceridigion and the north Carmarthenshire area.
Wynfford James, managing director of enterprise company Anfur Teifi, told the Western Mail (p3): 'The ideas behind Leader II are the ones that will guide rural development in Europe at the turn of the century. It provides us with an excellent opportunity to prepare for that, so that Ceredigion and north Carmarthenshire are in an ideal position to reap the benefits.'
Anfur Teifi will help local people with planning, marketing and piloting work and helping them develop their own projects.
