Details of how an extra£9.2m for Welsh school budgets - announced in the chancellor's pre-Budget report last week - will be allocated were given today.

'We're detailing how we are spending that extra money, plus a little bit more,' said a Welsh Assembly Government spokeswoman.

Over£2,000 will be guaranteed for the smallest primary school,£7,900 for the largest primary school,£9,800 for the smallest secondary school and£16,200 for the largest.

£1.7m will to to specialist services for children with autism and for children who require a statement of their special education needs.
