A Labour City of Glasgow councillor is being taken to court for financial irregularities at a publically funded community organisation which he chairs, The Scotsman (P7) reports.

Glasgow sherrif court heard yesterday Stephen Dornan, chairman of Money Matters, witheld bank books, cheque books and other financial documantation and barred colleagues from turning up without prior permission.

Colleagues are also concerned that the organisation funded by almost£1m of Urban Aid cash has not held an AGM for 22 months.
