Groupe Bull, the French state controlled computer group expected to announce significantly reduced losses next month following 1991 losses of £139 million, has received a boost from its UK operations, the Guardian reports (p15).

Bull UK Chief Executive George McNeil said the British arm had 'a very satisfactory year' in 1992, with orders up 4%. The profit improvement stemmed partly from growth of more than 25% in its software and services operation.
