David Morgan, the man with HIV dismissed as a housing estate concierge by Haringey LBC, has been granted permission to take the council to court for wrongful dismissal and breach of contract. He alleges the council failed to follow the proper procedures when dismissing him and claims he suffered discrimination because he has HIV. The case will be heard in Ilford County Court in the new year. Mr Morgan declined to say who was paying for his barrister.
