Homes & Communities Agency head of environmental policy Jane Forshaw will this week take up a senior post at Stoke-on-Trent City Council.

Jane Forshaw

Ms Forshaw joined English Partnerships in December 2007 before its creation of the Homes & Communities Agency, in conjunction with the Housing Corporation and the Department for Communities and Local Government.

A spokesman for Stoke confirmed that Ms Forshaw would become the authority’s new head of environmental policy, but said he could give no further details.

Earlier in her career, Ms Forshaw worked at Birmingham City Council.

Immediately prior to taking up her post at English Partnerships, she was chief executive of contaminated land charity CL:AIRE.
