The head teacher of a Soutwark LBC primary school has denied victimising a member of staff, asking other members of staff to spy on her and manufacturing evidence to discredit her on the fifth day of an industrial tribunal.

The Times (p4) reports that Annetta Padmore, head teacher of Heber Road Primary School denied the accusations of Vicky Sawyerr, who is claiming unfair dismissal and racial discrimination against Southwark LBC.

Sawyerr claims that a teacher in a neighbouring class had shown reading ability test papers to her pupils before the test, which resulted in accusations of cheating, name-calling and fighting between the two classes. She claims she would not have been dismissed if she had not been so angry and dilligent about her complaint.
