The Highland Council is conducting a survey in its area to establish, what, if any, impact is being felt by travellers following the switch in Inverness-London air services from Heathrow to Gatwick.

The council has sent out questionnaires to 150 contacts but would like to hear from any individual, organisation or business to learn of their experiences since British Airways pulled out of Heathrow and British Regional Airlines provided on their behalf a service to Gatwick.

The council hope to be in a position to reveal the results of the survey on the first anniversary of the withdrawal on 17 November.

The deadline for responses is Monday 9 November.
