How to submit an Idea Exchange

  • Comment

LGC’s Idea Exchange showcases examples of innovation and best practice in local government that other councils should learn from.

Articles are written by officers for officers. The aim is to encourage them to share information about cutting edge projects, spreading good ideas and inspiring further work.

If you believe your council’s work is genuinely innovative, or an example of such dramatic improvement that other councils need to hear about it, we urge you to email LGC’s features editor at jimmy.nicholls@emap.com.

He will send you guidance on how to submit an article. This will stipulate how articles should explain how barriers should be overcome, our picture requirements and how we will require information such as the project’s resourcing and timescale.
