Two Labour Ealing councillors were booed out of a British Legion hall after not standing up for the national anthem during a Remembrance Day service, reports the Yorkshire Post (p4).

Ealing housing chair Diane Murray - who remained seated alongside her colleague Graham Nickson - said she did not like the Royal Family, and if she knew the anthem was going to be played she would have left early so as not to offend anyone.
