Multi-millionaire Labour supporters Barbara and Ken Follett have 'enraged' neighbours by proposing to take over a public footpath at the side of a cottage they own, says the Daily Mail (p3).

Stevenage BC says that the couple must find out who owns the triangle of land first before putting in a planning application to extend their boundaries around it.

The paper claims that the couple bought the 'humble' cottage to help Barbara Follett portray herself as an ideal potential MP for the town.
