Haringey LBC has been criticised by chair of the Victoria Climbie inquiry Lord Laming for the repeated late submission of relevant documents.

The chairman summoned Haringey's chief executive David Warwick to explain why files had not been submitted earlier.

Although Lord Laming accepted an apology from Mr Warwick he warned him he could face criminal proceedings if further unseen evidence came to light.
