The creation of a new North West Surrey unitary authority has been backed by the Egham and District Chamber of Commerce.

Tim Williams, the chief executive of Runnymede BC, which will form part of the new authority said: 'I welcome this decision by the chamber, and I understand that Chertsey Chamber of Commerce also support the unitary principle'.
