Representatives of the ALA will meet London's Transport Minister, Stephen Norris today to voice their worries over the Capital's transport 'crisis'.

The cross party delegation representing the ALA and LBA will call for Government backing for bus priority measures and cycle routes across London, as well as a restoration of investment levels for public transport.

ALA transport spokesperson, Jane Reeves said: 'The government's budget statement did not make clear what the level of investment will be in 1994-95. What we do know is that there will not be enough for London Underground to go ahead with desperately needed safety measures.'
