Manchester referendum: latest polling

  • Comment
The latest figures for turnout in the Manchester congestion charge referendum have been published by the Returning Officer.

Voters in the referendum are being asked to have their say on the Greater Manchester Transport Innovation Fund proposals which involve both major investment in public transport in Greater Manchester and the introduction of a weekday, peak-time only congestion charge.

More than 1.94 million ballot packs have been issued to voters across the region.

People have until 10pm on 11 December to return their completed ballot papers. The results will be announced on 12 December.

The figures released show the number of papers received from each district up to the end of the working day on Thursday 4 December, one week before polls close.
