The 16,000 sq ft facility will offer various sizes of accommodation on flexible licences, rather than traditional lease terms. It has been made possible by a European Union grant for the support of communities affected by the reduction in defence spending.
Berkshire hopes this will encourage the opening of several more such centres.
Leader Paul Bettison (Con) said: 'The council is anxious to nurture new businesses and it is vital we provide them with the right type of premises and support.'
The facilities will include central reception and switchboard, telephone answering and messaging, secretarial support, meeting rooms and conference facilities.
