Corporate sponsors of the Greenwich Millennium exhibition have voiced grave concern about its commercial prospects despite a last-minute agreement between politicians and the organisers, the Observer reported (p12).

They have predicted that the exhibition will run over its£580m budget. Some estimates have put the final bill as high as£800m.

One senior government adviser has described it as 'the worst-managed project' in his experience.
