A majority of school boards in Scotland want to retain Section 28, according to a survey.

The Daily Telegraph (p6) reports that about 90% of the 450 boards that have so far responded to a Scottish School Board Association survey said they wanted to keep the clause.

The association is consulting all 2,400 school boards before it decided its strategy. All boards must respond before an executive meeting on Saturday.
