The Scout Association is taking legal action to reclaim Ingle Holt Island in Huntingdonshire back from a breakaway group of sea scouts.

The Daily Express (p19) reports that problems started when scout leader Martin Johnson was sacked by the association and started his own breakaway scout group, but continued to use the association's original headquarters on Ingle Holt Island.

Huntingdonshire DC appointed Mr Johnson and three other trustees to take care of the plot in 1993. Today the Scout Association is going to the high court to try to reclaim the land and buildings.
