The second Scottish Transport Challenge Fund competition will see nine projects share in almost£30m of additional capital funding, James Douglas-Hamilton has revealed.

Full details of the successful projects - which range the length and breadth of Scotland and include innovate schemes related to public transport and alternatives to car use - will be announced by Lord James, The Scottish Office minister responsible for roads and transport, tomorrow.

Lord James will also announce the publication of orders for the A8000 and the Barnton Bypass.
