The Western Mail reports (p5) that Hoover will not be prosecuted for its £20 million free-flights fiasco after legal advice given to Mid Glamorgan CC said that there were no grounds for criminal proceedings.
The paper reports Alan Miles, county trading standards officer, as saying that while may be thousands of customers who are satisfied there are reckoned to be many who have not received free flights for a variety of reasons.
