Nottingham City Council is to assign council-employed minders to protect tenants waiting to give evidence in eviction cases against anti-social neighbours, reports The Yorkshire Post (p4).

Two 'nuisance and harassment officers' will be used as part of the council's battle to evict an increasing number of problem tenants, says the paper.
