The first opted-out school to face the wrath of school inspectors will be subject to an two day investigation this week, the Evening Standard reports (p17).

School governors of Stratford School, East London, are reported to be angry at 'serious differences' between the school and the team of freelance inspectors from Islington LBC over issues like discipline and uniforms.

The schools has had a string of problems since it became grant- maintained, says the paper, including GCSE results last year which were among the worst in the country.
