Welsh secretary William Hague will this week be pushed by parliamentary colleagues to publish the report into the Clwyd child-abuse scandal, now thought to be the biggest case of child-abuse in Britain, reported The Independent on Sunday (p3).

Labour's health spokesman in Wales, Rhodri Morgan, said he would be asking whether it was right that Clywd CC's insurers, Municipal Mutual, should properly be able to interfere in the process of open government by insisting that the report remain unpublished.
