Plans for a windfarm have been recommended for refusal by Pembrokeshire CC, according to the Western Mail (p9).

National Wind Power says its plan for a£12m, 16-turbine plan at Mynydd Cilciffeth in the Presell Mountains near the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, would meet 30 per cent of the county's electricity needs.

But planners are advising against it because of its potential effect on the wild, open landscape of the area.

It is the fifth attempt by National Wind Power to build a windfarm in Pembrokeshire.
