Police admin staff reject pay offer

  • Comment
Trades unions representing police support staff have said 'no' to a 2.25% pay offer.

GMB national officer Rehana Azam said: “Our members who work in the support roles to front-line police officers have a growing workload which was not reflected in the offer.”

Dialogue to continue

But the national negotiating group - the body that represents non-police staff - has decided to continue talking to police employers before any industrial action takes place. Earlier this week local government unions reluctantly accepted a 2.475% pay rise.

Another meeting will take place before the end of November.
