Deputy Labour leader Margaret Beckett asked the Environment Secretary how many appeals against council tax valuation remain outstanding.
Replying, local government minister David Curry said that as at 30 October 1993 there were 597,931 proposals to alter the council tax valuation list outstanding. Figures are also given for each region in the Hansard (cols 191-204).
