Welcome to LGC’s Confidence Survey 2017.
This is an opportunity for senior council officers to have their say on the major issues affecting local government.
It is used to give a benchmark of the sector’s view of the government’s performance and key policies – from social care funding and business rates retention to Brexit, housing and community cohesion.
It follows on from the LGC Confidence Surveys taken at regular intervals since the 2010 general election. You can read last year’s survey results here.

This survey is entirely anonymous. You will not be asked to give your name. All results will be used only in aggregate and individual participants WILL NOT be identified even where written responses are provided.
Responses will form the basis for detailed articles in LGC, online and in print.
