LGC Awards 2016 open for entry

  • Comment

The 2016 LGC Awards have today opened for entry with a new award to commemorate our 20-year anniversary.

The winner of this award will be the council that can demonstrate sustained excellence and innovation from which other councils have sought inspiration, since we launched the competition in 1996.

The LGC Awards aim to recognise and celebrate the greatest achievements across local government.

LGC acting editor Keith Cooper said: “During today’s difficult times, it is more vital than ever to ensure your teams hard work is recognised and rewarded to improve morale.

“As a platform for sharing the lessons and best practice of the finalists and winners, the Awards benefit everyone working in the sector.”
